Changing HUB inside of Fusion 360

So... I'm working with a company to help them launch a Fusion Lifecycle/Fusion 360 integrated development system. This is a wee bit premature after looking through the current state of the link between Fusion and Lifecycle... but early adoption is part of my mission with Autodesk products.

That being said...

I have multiple A360 accounts and multiple hubs. I recently launched a new Lifecycle tenant (trial) to get a feel for the functionality before pushing it live. I quickly realized that Fusion Lifecycle creates different hubs than Fusion Team. They can be linked to the same account, but remain discreet hubs. The problem I have is that I can't swap to one of my Lifecycle hubs inside Fusion 360.

Is there a way to change hubs without logging out, changing my default hub, and logging back into Fusion 360?

The best practice going forward will be to manage all the accounts directly for the team users (which makes sense in a commercial setting) so that each user is only a part of one hub. For me as a consultant bouncing between hubs and projects... this is a serious hurdle.

Hi @I_Forge_KC First off, thanks for the early adopter efforts! The question seems to be about switching hubs in Fusion. The account that you are logged in with should be invited into the hub you are trying to access. To my best knowledge there are two places to switch hubs.

One is in-product in Fusion 360:

The other is in the Dashboard:

If I'm understanding the question correctly, you are saying that a hub associated with Fusion Lifecycle does not appear in one of these places, is that correct? I may need to pull in some other expertise to answer your question (like @michelle.stone?) to get the clarification on the current status of things. First, I want to verify these options aren't being overlooked as this would be the simplest answer I can think of.

Thanks!

With Fusion Lifecycle, the Data tab will take you to the Fusion Team hub (the URL differs a bit, but you'll see the tenant name for Fusion Lifecycle in the header for the hub):

I can ask to see how we could get them linked up - I'm guessing your trial may be under a different email (I didn't see it associated with your classic Fusion Lifecycle tenant or the beta program ones)

And don't I feel dumb...

This popped up this morning...

It would be nice if this was enabled by default instead of being triggered by a hub addition/change.

I have a related question; is the drop down menu for changing hubs available for Fusion 360 running on Mac?

I have both a personal hub, and am a member of a team hub. I can change hubs  through my browser, but I do not have the drop down menu within the Fusion 360 Application

Thanks in advance!

Autodesk, please respond. I have the same issue. There's no menu item on the desktop app for me.

I am also not seeing this on my Mac version of Fusion 360.

I assumed it would just pop up. It is definitely linked to the same account as Fusion 360.

Does it show OK in the online dashboard if you click your initials top right of screen?

When I open the online dashboard both my personal hub and the new team hub seem fine. Not sure where to look for "OK" because in the top right it references that I am in a trial and it shows my user avatar. When clicking the avatar I see links to both of my hubs.

Just in case I created a test project with a test part that I created using Fusion 360 online. Still no switching between hubs in the Fusion 360 desktop app.

With the part you created with the online version can you select edit with desktop version? I tried this and Fusion then asked if it was OK to switch hubs. I'd make sure you have the desktop version running with no designs open.

I am having issues accessing another Hub on my Mac Desktop software and when I log out of the web browser it stops giving me access also. I am also getting the Hub message when I try to access the files.
