changing autosave options

recently started using fusion 360 coming from auto cad 2004(don"t ask)

i want to have full control on when i save and if i even want to save. 

if i go and edit a model but really don't like it,i want to be able to exit the model without it saving. 

how can i have FULL 100% control of my save choices?

The save on close and the auto-save preferences are located in the General panel of the Preferences. The Preferences are located under the "name" menu on the upper, right-hand side of the Fusion window.
