change from bringing in complete assembly to singular parts in drawing views

I'm having an issue in drawing / drafting,where I've  started off with an assembly in the views on the first three or so sheets, but not understanding how on subsequent sheets I can bring in singular parts....without bringing in the assembly and turning off all the parts I don't want showing in the view. Any suggestions, thanks in advance.

Hi strada3d,

Here's the easiest way to do this (short of as you found turning off all but one/some of the components in the new view):

1. Have the design and related drawing open

2. In the design browser select the component or components you want to create a new view of > Right-click > Create drawing

3. Create Drawing dialog appears > Expand Drawing, you should see the related drawing > Select it

4. In Sheet you can then specify Create new sheet or select one of the existing ones.
