Center view to selection ?

Hello,

is there a way to center the view to the selected component in editing mode ?

Example : If you select a component from on a view, then need to change to side view using the nav cube to edit it, the view is sometime not centered to the selected item. So you have to zoom out, find where is the selection on the view , then re-zoom in to edit as you want. Which is a waste of time.

Coming from Maya, My first thought was to check if there is a way to center the view on the selection (f key in Maya), but I can't find something like so.

Yes you can, just double click your mouse center scroll wheel and the part will center in the screen.

Thanks for the help, but doesn't work for me in Sculpt mode or Sketch .

If I select a vertex or line then double click middle mouse, it centers the view on the all object,

not the selected component.

Or am I missing something...

Yes, you can do that too, right click on the object that you want to look at and then click on "find in window".
