Center Drawing on paper

At the moment I am placing a Base View on my seperate sheets and trying to move it around to center it on the papir.

Is there a way to center it on the papir it is put onto? (Move the grey spot to the red spot)

Cheers,

Erik

Hi @erik,
As a workaround, I have used dimension lines to find the center of canvas.
But in coming release user will be exposed to edit block/border feature, where someone can create custom drawing templates using basic geometrical entities.

Hi Erik,

Another workaround is to use the Centerlines command and place two centerlines (one horizontal, one vertical), see picture below.  There is no associative placement option to the center of the sheet, so if you change your sheet size, the construction entities that locate the center of the sheet (centerlines in my case and dimension lines in Amit's case) will become disassociated.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick answers @suryawa and @sanjay_jayabal they do work as long as one has a title block or other kind of borderlines.

That is kind of an issue for me since 3 out of my 4 sheets are plain paper sheets with nothing placed on them other than the Base View. Any suggestion for centering a Base view on a clean sheet?

Cheers,

Erik

Messing around with the drawing template I found, that I can turn the border of the sheet on and off..

Thanks for all your help; I got it sorted that way!

Cheers,

Erik
