Having a bit of a tough time creating defined curves and creating this car vent in general any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

This is great, Thanks for the help. I was getting stuck trying to define those curves.. Along with just getting lost in how to get from point a to b with this complex feature.

Wow, this is perfect! Would love to see your workflow as well. I'm Thinking I could just create a plane, If I get that far and then extrude the profile of the air fins through the part?

Sure. Assuming you start outside the shell, extrude them through as separate bodies, do some Split Body commands on them using the shell as a tool, Remove the leftover bits that stick out, and finally Combine all into one Body.

Welp, I think I’m learning. How would I go about stretching the part as a whole along the bias of the curved front face?

1. I'm fuzzy on the phrase, "...along the bias...."

 

2. Try to model things to the right size/shape from the beginning.
