Canvas import aspect ratio incorrect

When importing an image from my phone, the aspect ratio is incorrect, throwing off the scaling. The picture shows up correctly when opened in Windows. Any ideas? First time running into this.

Hi

The image itself doesn't have a metric scale, only pixels.

The scale of the imported image file should be adjusted to suit the specific situation.

The issue isn't scaling calibration, it's aspect ratio.

The imported image is distorted from the original, rendering it useless.

Notice how the first image is "squashed" in Y (even with 1.0x scale factors), as compared to the original (2nd image).

Scaling calibration does not impact this.

In order to perform photogrammetry reasonably well, the parts must be photographed vertically.
Here, the parts are distorted in perspective.
I also recommend photographing with the longest possible focal length and filling the frame.

Try turning Fusion off and on again.

Hi! I cannot seem to reproduce the behavior on my machine. I would try the followings and see if they help.

1) Go to Windows Display settings and select the recommended resolution and scale.

2) Right-click on Fusion desktop icon -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Change High DPI settings -> check both boxes.

Please make sure all the critical Windows updates, the latest graphics driver, and all the critical PC vendor updates are installed.

Many thanks!
