Cannot select/snap to points in sketch when drawing circles,arcs, or lines..

Hello,

This is hopefully an easy one to answer.  When sketching below, I have drawn some lines and a circle and would like to connect the 3 points you can see in the centre of the sketch to each other with a 3-point arc.  However, I cannot seem to select or snap to the 3 points in the picture below to do this... is there a setting I haven't activated, or some other way that will let me do this?  It seems like a pretty basic thing to do, but it is causing me trouble.  Any help would be appreciated.  I did try ticking the 'Snap to' box before trying to draw, but that doesn't work.

As I said in my initial post, I did tick that box, but it didn't work. To clarify, I am trying to use those 3 points in the centre of my picture to create an arc, but I can only select the left-most point in the circle as the first point, I am not able to select the other 2 points with my mouse cursor. So I cannot do the arc.

I have managed to solve this myself now... I created a new sketch with that axis view as the primary plane, which allowed me to snap my cursor to the right points to create the arc.

I will make wager that you have not solved.

You should never have that much blue (undefined) geometry.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply that illustrates your “solution “?

No, and No.  My solution works in that I have been able to get the result I wanted, and am not in the habit of sharing confidential information! 😄

@peterg7X5LU
I have examined all of your posts.

I will wager that you are not using Fusion sketcher following best practices.

In the case of proprietary data - the usual practice is to make up a dummy file that exhibits the behavior without giving away any proprietary information.
