Hi,
Total beginner here, trying maybe more that he should.
I have made some ribs on a body (the upper housing of a diff case)
I want the rib side faces to have a bit of an angle to simulate the casting release angle.
the axis of rotation should be the diagonal on each face.
I think my problem lies in the fact that my ribs were created from a single line (as done in the videos I saw on ribs)
which means there is no face to select?
I'v attached my progress thusfar.
the diff I'm making:

thanks, but filleting will be done later, after I have set the angle of the face.
all this talk of ribs and fillets is making me hungry!

If I understand you correctly you want to add a draft angle to the rib side faces?
try the draft option from the modify drop-down menu
Thanks

it seems I need to select the top of the flange - yes, it used as a reference plane
It seems like you are making very good progress!
thanks
