Cannot select a patterned edge

Hi all,
I created a simple design, based on a rectangular pattern of a semicircle which was then mirrored and extruded. The body then had a countersunk hole added, which was then patterned across the body.
I'm running into two problems when I try to add a fillet or chamfer to the outside edge. The first problem is that I can't get either a fillet or a chamfer to work, and I'm not sure what I'm missing to make it work. I get either of the following two errors:
"the fillet could not be created at the requested size"
"attempt to change record marked as deleted"
I've tried different sizes of fillets, and different edge selections, rule fillet vs regular fillet, but nothing seems to make a difference. I'm sure it's something simple - I just can't figure it out.
The second issue is that while troubleshooting this, I tried manually selecting each of the edge vertices individually. On one side of the body, this was no problem. But on the other side, there is an edge right in the center (the arc linking two hole segments in the original sketch) that is not selectable. It's only that one edge.
Since that edge was created from a pattern operation in the sketch and then extruded, I don't understand why it is behaving differently from the rest of the model - or how to fix whatever problem it has.
If anyone can advise, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks,
Lee
