Cannot perform chamfer or fillet

I am having trouble to fillet or chamfer this edge which I debossed first on a curved surface.

you probably have funky curvature quality there, such as a near tangent condition.  we would need to see the model to help any more than that.  can you export your model as a .f3d and attach?

you can see when you zoom up on this spot that there is a near tangent condition.  fusion struggles to put fillets and chamfers at places like this.

the quality of the curves on this model is funky in many places, here are a couple-

if you made this your self in fusion, then if you post the model with the timeline we can address the root causes, which is the preferable approach.

if not then there may be some hacks we can apply.  my preferred approach would probably be to just remodel it from scratch using this as a reference so I could be assured of clean geometry.

Are you saying that the curves at different places maybe causing this specific geometry to misbehave.

This software is working great. If it does not let you fillet, software tells you it supposed to be in that way.
