Can't transform component in "Fusion 360 Animation"

Hey guys,

I'm trying to transform a single component of a multi-component mechanism using Fusion 360 Animation. The mechanism itself consists of a cattle chin lift which is ultimately attached to an air cylinder via the threaded end of a piston rod. The piston rod lowers and returns in the y-direction a max of 12" which, in theory, lowers and raises back up the chin lift (which acts on 2 opposing pivots both acting in the y-angle).

Now, when I try to transform the piston rod -12"... it doesn't do anything. It doesn't even recognize that I tried to transform the component.

I re-adjusted all of the joints so they should be correct, but I'm stumped as to what's wrong here. Thoughts?

What I did was cleaned up your Design Environment Assembly and added enough joints to create a Motion Study, which you will find in the Browser just above the Joints folder.  I am giving you a link to a video that will show you how to use this Motion Study in a Render, you will not be able to use the Motion Study in the Animation environment nor will you be able to use the assembly joints in the Animation environment.  The only down side to this whole thing is that the Render MUST BE a cloud render and then you have to cloud render it again to include the Motion Study, it is all in the attached video link above.  Of course rendering to the cloud cost credits and rendering with a motion study cost a lot of credits.  I think you should simply animate the indicated joint in the assembly and record it.  Below is a Screencast where I indicate where the driving joint is plus the motion study.  You must preview the video link above if you want to go through with the Cloud Render with the Motion Study.  The model is attached.
