Can't shorten bolt imported from solidworks

I imported a Solidworks design for a desktop CNC router.  Most of the bolts didn't import properly and are too long.  I isolated one of them and am trying to use the move tool to make the bolt shorter.  I tried selecting the faces on the end of the bolt and move them toward the head to make the bolt shorter, but it's not working.  Apparently I can only select the whole bolt.  The share link to the design is below and I have the bolt in question isolated.

This design is a parametric (history-based) design.  Move does not work on individual faces in history designs (yet...).  Instead, the tool to use is Press/Pull.

However, the problem is the chamfer face:

This will complicate the operation.  The best thing to do is to delete this face, then use Press/Pull to shorten the bolt, then re-apply the chamfer:

after deleting the face, invoke press/pull, select the face:

make sure the type is set to "new offset", then shorten the bolt:

then, re-apply the chamfer:

Or, of course, you can just cut it off with an extrude, and also re-apply the chamfer.

hope this helps

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
