Can't group components - nested folders

I am trying to Nest components into a master folder for that type of component on a project. Autodesk says to use the assemble drop down and choose New Component and that you can save it as a "new empty component". It then says to highlight the set of components that you want to move to the folder and drag them into the new folder. This does not work for me. I am not allowed to create an empty component. It will only let me create a component that references an existing object.

Hi @evcomaine,

Don't click on that cross within the dialog box.

Just create it.

You also can create a new component from the top level by Right-Click.

Thanks, Marco. I see that even though it seems to be referencing something it will come up blank.

Follow up question. I don't seem to be able to organize the components in the order I want within this component folder. Is there a way to do this?
