Hi,

there is no restriction in Fusion, you can create more than 5 projects. Try Clear User Cache Data

I have the same problem. I get USAGE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED error message if I want to create a 6th project. If I delete a project I can create one. Clearing the cache did not help. Also my term expires every other day.

@christoph.pech Let's work on the expired trial issue first and see if  the project issue goes away.

What network are you running Fusion 360 on? Do you know if there is a proxy server or a potentially restrictive network component in play? It's possible that another application is interfering with the network communicators for Fusion 360 which is causing the intermittent authentication issues. Can you test adding exception for Fusion 360 in your firewalls and anti-virus software (if applicable)?

If you are experiencing the issue, it may be helpful to reset the LoginState.xml file.

Remove the LoginState.xml file and Restart Fusion 360:

Mac OS
1. (Close Fusion 360) In Terminal, type the below command and press enter
open ~/library/
2. In the Subsequent Finder window (Macintosh HD > Users > %Profile% > Library), browse to
~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Web Services
3. In the Web Services Directory, locate the file LoginState.xml
4. Right click on LoginState.xml and select Move to Trash
5. Restart Fusion 360

Windows
1. (Close Fusion 360) In windows explorer browse to   %localappdata%\autodesk\web services
2. In the Web Services directory, right lick on the LoginState.xml file and select delete
3. Restart Fusion 360

If these suggestions do not help, please submit a copy of the diagnostic log files. These will be useful to analyze to look for potential issues or a history of what is happening. You

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Can you post a copy of the diagnostic log files?

I strongly suspect there is a network communication issue occurring. If you review the About dialog box from the help drop down menu, what does the active plan say?

Thanks,

Thanks for the update. I did not find any network issues recording in the log files. So, my initial theory appears to be incorrect.

I reviewed the log files and if I'm reading this correctly (which I may not be), it looks like you are connecting to different hubs. Are you using a an Autodesk 360 Team hub by any chance? I think you may be trying to create a project in a Hub where you may not have the permissions to do so. You can see the roles and permissions for different user types in the below link.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Understanding-A360-roles...

I note that you can switch to a Team hub from the "name" menu on the upper right hand side of the Fusion window:

Are you trying to create a project in your Personal hub (see mine is called Nathan Chandler above)?

I hope that helps!

Thanks,

I don't have the option to select another hub.

Are you selecting the New Project command in the Data Panel:

... or are you selecting it in the A360 Dashboard?

Does it make a difference if you use one or the other?

Thanks,

How many projects do you currently have in your personal hub?

Have you purchased Fusion 360 or are you using Fusion as a Student? When I review your account, I'm not seeing an entitlement for Autodesk Fusion 360.

I believe this is the root cause of not being able to create another project and why the About dialog is also blank.

Which e-mail address is the purchase associated with and how did you purchase? Did you receive a purchase confirmation e-mail?

If so, can you e-mail it to nathan DOT chandler AT autodesk DOT com?

Thanks,
