My problem seems similar to the issue posted here, but the proposed solution doesn't work for me. Fusion won't let me change the appearance of a body. In the screencast, I make a simple 1" cube and attempt to apply materials to it. Nothing happens. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Are you in wireframe view there? Get out of wireframe and into shaded and you will see the appearances. I think they *are* being applied, you just can't see them in wireframe mode.
