Can no longer copy inserted components after placing joints

Since the latest update I can't use move/copy on inserted components after a joint has been placed on them.

If you try to use move/copy on the component the option to create a copy doesn't appear.  Roll the timeline back before the joint and you can.

This is very disruptive to my workflow.

Hi,

This could have something to do with “ground to parent”.

Take a look at this article.

It's not just that, this is on inserted components that come after the first that has been ground to parent.
But you're correct that the first inserted component that has been grounded also cannot be copied.

Hi,

However, you can either remove the “fixation” by right-clicking and “Remove ground to parent” or remove this “fixation” in the preferences > “Assembly” settings.

I know that. That doesn't address the root of the problem however that I should be able to create a copy of a grounded (or jointed) component since copy shouldn't affect the first instance of that component.

just tried it.  weird behavior that seems like a bug.  you can work around it with ctrl-c (copy) and ctrl-v (paste).

Ctrl-C & Ctrl-V as a workaround is VERY helpful, thank you!
