Can I make perspective with ortho faces STICK?

I did the obligatory searching and cannot find an option for making perspective with ortho faces stick. I choose it for my design, then it reverts to orthographic. I have to keep switching it back. Any help will be appreciated.

All the settings I make from the navigation bar seem to stick for me.

Hmm...
I'll pay closer attention, but I'm pretty sure it switches on its own.
Would be great if it could be changed in the preferences like inches to mm.

This is not a solution. Doing as suggested only changes it temporarily.

Has there been a solution to this? I have to constantly switch the the camera from perspective to ortho, every sketch, every edit sketch, all day long. I never need a perspective view in a sketch. Having it default to ortho or perspective with ortho faces would save me a lot of time during the day having to reset this over and over.
