Can I edit a dimension of the imported design?

Hi,

I downloaded a cube-shaped design online here in fusion 360 community, and I would like to edit its dimension.

Is it possible to do so?

Hi,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community.

You should be able to edit it. It's hard to say unless I can see more about the data. Can you share the model or show a screenshot of it with the browser and timeline in the picture?

If you have questions about any of this, just let me know.

Thanks,

@Anonymous,

You can enable direct modeling and drag a face to change the volume of the cube, or an edge to add a fillet. To go into direct modeling, you click the little settings icon in the bottom right of you screen and choose "Do no capture design history". You would use this method if you anticipate only changing the dimension only a couple of times.

Once you are done editing it, you can turn design history back on to continue to capture future edits you make to this design.

I hope this helps,
