Hi all,

I'm trying to create a path for the loft tool to connect two faces on different planes at a different angle. I first sketched on xz and yz planes two splines and intersected them, now how can I control/constraint the resulting projection on xy plane?

On a side note, what's the most reasonable way to do what I'm trying to do (create a "spline editable" path for the loft tool when faces are not co-planar)?

Thank you!

Answer to your first question: you can't constraint the projection of the curve on xy plane after you constrained the shape on xz and yz. The is not because of the limitation of Fusion 360, but because of the restriction of mathematics.

If you don't care about the projects of the path onto other planes, an easier way to create the path is to use 3D sketch. You can select points in 3D space as the fit points of the spline curve.
