I have some long wooden beams that are to be made from stacked laminated plywood. My beam is roughly 17' long 10" deep and has big curves on the end to reach the ground. Is there any way to get fusion to figure out figure out the best way to splice them in to parts that can fit on a standard 48x96 stock?

There is no way that I know of to automatically slice the beam so the parts fit on a 4' x 8' sheet. You will have to slice it manually yourself.

Are you using a scarf or a butt joint?  How much overlap is required?

They would just be a butt joint with an overlap of roughly 4"
