CAM - Mach3 and Tool Compensation

I tried running my first CAM job on my CNC router this weekend.  a third of the way through the run I noticed the pockets being cut were undersize.  It appears to be undersize by half the cutter diameter.  I suspected that tool compensation was not enabled.  Looking at the posted gcode for the job shows no G43 and not matching H arguments to the M6 (tool change) command.  That would explain the behavior I was seeing.

I'm posting using the mach3mill post processor and running the code on my CNC Router Parts CRP-4848 router.  What do I have to do to enable tool compensation?  I don't see anything appropriate in the operation settings or anywhere else.

This sounds strange to me. What operation are you running on your pocket? If its Pocket or Adaptive then you wouldn’t see any XY comp codes in the program. We do not compensate for cutter diameter for roughing operations.

If you’re using a 2D Contour operation then I would need to know how you have your compensation type set.
