Calculate solid angle coverage

Dear Fusion experts, I am interested in calculating the solid angle of several components with respect to a given point in space. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solid_angle The individual components are overlapping such that it is not straight-forward to calculate it analytically. Is there a possibility to use a technique such as raytracing to determine the solid angle? Thank you very much in advance. Best regards, Tobias

You can do it manually. In my video below, I've got a curved surface to hit, so the result is just a close approximation. If you've got corners to hit instead, you can make it exact.
