Hi,
Can you post a file with an example please?
How are you creating these parameters you want to get rid of? Why do you want/need to get rid o them?
Does not CTRL-A then Delete not work? Why doesn't it work?
Why did you create a bunch of Parameters if you are not going to use them?
Love to help but in the dark right now. (Not just because it is night time in Australia!)
Cheers
Andrew
Hi Andrew>
Ctrl+A doesn't work for me. Looks like you can only delete one at a time.
Here you go: https://a360.co/3uijR5a This is a simplified example. It would be awesome to purge unused parameters. Like I do in Rhino with unused layers.
I want to delete them because the parameters are created from a script but when I make changes to the script the old unused parameters remain.
I have tried Save As but the parameters remain.
Any ideas?
Hi,
Try this. Select the first parameter in the group you want to delete. Hold down Shift and click on the last
parameter in the group. This makes all of the parameters between select as blue highlight. Click the Delete
icon (rubbish bin) and they all disappear.
Worked for me on you file.
Cheers

However, this only works if none of these parameters are used in existing equations.

Hi Gunther,
This is true but the original question was to delete excess unused parameters from a script. If they were
being used then presumably you wouldn't want to delete them.
Cheers

So to follow up....
Bulk Delete Unused Parameter=
1. You can just select all your User Parameters and hit the trash can icon.
2. Wait for a fusion to process what is being used
3. You will then get a warning of the parameters that can not be deleted because they're being used 🙂
4. Voilà.... you will have only used parameters in the parameter table.
Here is video demo. Deleting 4 pages of unused parameters
