bugs - lots and lots of bugs

Hi-

I've been using this software for about a month now, and I have to say it is the buggies software I have ever used, by a factor of at least 10! It acts like function calls in the code stop working. Like <delete> works several times then just stops, or <paste>, or any of dozens of others. This happens 10-20 times a day. I am constantly closing everything out and restarting the program. Also the software seems to be very modal, but doesn't give any hint as to why a command is not working. Also no help from "help", nor online. Very frustrating having to constantly hack to find out what the programmers had in mind as to what mode I need to be in to get a command to work. All in all it looks great potential, but it is taking me at least10 times longer that it should.

I'm using a Mac with El Capitan if that makes a difference.

Any help?

Thanks, Greg

Hi Greg,

Thanks for letting us know.

Currently, Fusion was a little bit unstable on El Captain. We are trying to make it better right now.

May I please have your email address? so we will be able to find your crash reports on our service and figure out what made your Fusion crashed.

Thanks

Junyu

Hello info,

Welcome to the community.

Rest assured the Fusion 360 Team will address this together with you.

I've been using Fusion 360 for well over a year now and the last month I did not have any crashes at all, and I am also running a Mac and El Capitan.

There are many hardware and/or software configurations that can influence the stability of any program.

You'll see, once the Fusion Team identified the specific problem, you will love working with Fusion!

Best regards,

Ludo

I've use Fusion 360 for a little more than a year, also on Mac OSX on a 5 year old i7 iMac.

I've not had crashes in a long time. Some of your workflow may need some adjustment. If you haev a spoecific problem it's best to seek help here on the forum before getting too frustrated. We're pretty quick with answers around here!

Hi Greg,

We are aware of one specific issue with 'Gesture based Navigation' that was causing instability for several customers on a Mac.  Can you check your preferences to see if you have 'Gesture based Navigation' on?  If you do, can you turn it off until we release the next update and see if that makes a difference for you?

best regards,

Sanjay Jayabal.
