Bottle Cap Design

I am starting to learn Fusion360.  I have a fairly ambitious little project, at least for me.  I am looking for a tutorial on designing a fairly generic bottle cap for a standard Coke bottle.  I have seen many interesting and useful tutorials in the forums on designing water (and other) bottles themselves, but cap design seems to be lacking.  I can pretty well generate the outside; it's the inside threads that I need some help with.

Does anyone out there have some information on how to do this?

That's a great first project.  For the outer shape I imagine you're using a loft?  For the inner threading, while Fusion will model lots of standard thread types, for the cap I recommend you use a sweep to make a custom thread. You can create a custom coiled path by making a coil feature and using a square or triangular profil.... Here's a link I found with some bottle standards if you're looking to be super precise.  Have fun!
