I am new to fusion and 3d concept in general.
I started to study just last week so please mind my low understanding. as well as my english
I am trying to make a foam insert for my travel case as my first project.
I have some models( constructed out from the gear that would be in the case )
and I have my foam model.
I need to make hole in the foam model shaped as my gear.
I found out the combine method and I tryied to pleay with it.
my problem is I need the cut go in to the depth of foam as well as leaving a trail on there path, so I can slide the gear inside.
my gear shapes are complex.
I found a video topic this thing just to make my qstion clear.
but over there the shape is simple and that is not fusion.
so is there a way of doing this in fusion and considering the complex shape and trail I would need throw the depth of the model that is being cut.
