Black Lines Appear in Model

I think I have found another bug with Ultimate.  While working on the same project that I have had opened for the past 8 hours or so black "vertex" lines appeared in my model; Modeling environment on a component.  They cannot be selected and do not go away after closing the model and reopening.  This has happened to me before and its usually a bell weather that bigger problems (complete corruption) are just ahead.  What causes this condition? How can it be prevented?  How can it be corrected once it occurs?

Closing the model/design and exiting Fusion, restarting, opening a different design then opening the problem design has eliminated the black lines for the moment.

Very strange. Those look like graphics artifacts - somehow Fusion has gotten confused about the edges in that frame body. If you see it again, let us know.

I have seen this on more than one occasion, this is the first time I have reported it.  I will send another screen shot along when it happens again.  Has happened on my Dell running Windows 8.1 (64 bit) and my Samsung running Windows 7 (64 bit).  Both have Nvidia graphics adapters.

Do you know if the graphics drivers are up to date on these machines?

It looked like some of those lines may be related to the measurement tool. If you have any suggestions or specific data sets that will allow us to reproduce the issue, it would be really helpful!

Drivers are up to date on both machines. Some of the lines (green color) are in fact artifacts from using the measurment tool.  This almost always happens when I use the tool.  Eventually they will go away, always after I save, close and re-open.

I cannot recall anything specific that I do to cause them to appear.  Has happened on several occasions over the past several months.

I've logged a similar sound incident with development regarding the measurement tool previously. I found that if you measured between two particular types of geometries, the measurement tool would leave behind some graphics artifacts. In that case, it was when measuring between two different circular edges that were coaxial.

You may have something else going on here. If you figure out the steps to reproduce the issue or are willing to share the data set, feel free to send it to nathan.chandler@autodesk.com. I will be happy to take a look and see if I can reproduce it.

Does changing the visual style (shaded vs. shaded with visible edges) seem to change anything?

I see those green measurement lines in my models just like Quaverf mentioned.

Yes, I used to have them quite often, but a lot less nowadays, not sure why it happens though.

As Nathan mentioned, we once fixed an issue FUS-14581 in Nov. release about green lines remain visible after measuring two cylindrical faces. 

It seems the issue was not fully fixed or this issue happen in more different scenarios.

When you meet this issue next time, could you please help to capture the screenshots/screencast, and share the model? That will be great help for us to reproduce the issue! I will log an issue in our system to track this issue. Appreciate if you let us know you see this issue next time. Please send models to yanhua.li@autodesk.com.
