Best way to design cables for prototyping and visual purpose?

I use Fusion as a hobbist and for creating / verifying prototypes for designing computers. Often I find my self wanting to draw cable paths, but find my self lost. What is the best way to do this?

Main problem I have is that it's not one cable, but a typical computer ATX is 24 pin (12cables in 2 layers) that needs to go in 3-dimensional space. Is there an easy way to like sketch the end points (just a 4mm circle in a rectangular pattern) and then loft all 24 at the same time?

Sorry for the very general question, but I'm so lost I can't even post a screencast as I don't know where to begin.

I'll add a quick render, just to show the need (if it helps)Angl3d_backside_2019-Feb-13_08-09-55PM-000_CustomizedView32728964549_png.png

I wouldn't use the loft command, but the pipe command.

That was much smarter yes 🙂 thank you.

Any way around having to draw 24 unique paths? and 24 unique pipes?

The Sweep command would be my choice:

But only the straight part is common, right? The curved part is different. So draw the straight part once and than pattern it. Now you can draw your individual parts.

Thank you so much ❤️ it worked like a charm, just as I was hoping.

Only problem I had was drawing the 3D path, as I want 90 bends in several planes, but once I managed to get a path, the sweep worked with all profiles 🙂

That cut down all the drawing to 2 paths (one for each "level") and I could sweep 2x12 profiles for my cables.

Thank you so much

Not sure I understand what you mean?

I got 2x12 cables that needs to go in several different 90 and 45 deg bends, as well as planes, but did work with a 3D path and sweep
