Best way to create a 3-D trapezoid

What is the best way to create a 3-D trapezoid 9.4" long side, 7.4" opposite side, 0.25" thick?  I thought I could create a box and modify the dims, but I have not found how to do that to get a trapezoid yet.  I remember seeing something on YouTube where they did exactly that.  I tried Draft, but that hasn't worked out for me either.  It just wants to give me a bevel.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding but there are certainly several ways to create a trapezoid solid.

One way is to create a 2D sketch, dimension the two parallel sides and then extrude. You seem to be missing a height and/or angles for the non-parallel sides though.

Hello CLmoss,

If you could send a drawing of the body you intend to create, it would be easier to offer a suggestion.

Probably, sketching a trapezoid and extruding it, as already mentioned, would be a very simple way of doing that. Other option would be to create a solid box and then chamfer two of its edges.

Cheers,

Luiz

That worked.  I sketched it then extruded it.  Thanks!

I couldn't get chamfer to work right for this.
