Hey everyone!

I am designing a rock climbing wall with an angled wall. This angle is slightly warped.

I have created the sketch from which I wanted to extrude the front face to the width of the plywood sheet, though the face isn't able to be selected even though it is a closed sketch. I suspect this is due to the warped nature of the wall? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have attached pictures and the .dwg file for reference.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi @alexmougenot ,

I followed the same as @davebYYPCU mentioned.

But, Extracted surface by using offset surface from solid bodies and new surface from the sketch reference.

Finally Stitched.

You can make them solid again by adding "Thicken"

Woops I didn't elaborate my reply. I now want to place a grid of holes onto this surface. I have managed to learn how to use rectangular patterns to make hole grids on the other plat solid panels, though I'm struggling to do the same on this curved surface? Any ideas?

@alexmougenot ,

For curved surface we need to use 'Circular Pattern'.

I can understand clearly only if you share an image or dataset.

You can export by File>Export *.f3d/*.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply.
