Batch generate drawings from parametric sheet

Hello,

I am trying to solve a fairly simple problem / set up a workflow in Fusion 360:

  • I have a part that comes in 20 different sizes
  • I need to produce 20 different drawings for each of these sizes
  • I have all the dimensions in a sheet

I am looking for a way to plug the sheet into Fusion and generate all the drawings. I can do it manually, i.e. create a reference model with a drawing, copy it 20 times and change the parameters, but I am looking for a smarter way.

Thanks for any hints in advance!

When you say drawings do you mean sketching in the model work spaces or producing a drawing in the drawing work spaces. if it's the first there is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwWDpQSrz7o if not that wont realy help.

@Anonymous This probably isn't helpful, but I think the functionality that you're asking for is what Inventor offers using iParts / iAssemblies. Basically you make an assembly that is configurable using different sizes of part components. It's then pretty straightforward to create drawings showing each configuration.

I'm pretty sure this is not possible in Fusion, and honestly I haven't seen it show up on the roadmap or IdeaStation yet.
