The charity for which I do voluntary work can nolonger afford a full licence, so I have to use the personal (free) version. I tried asigning a physical material to a part I've designed but cannot change it from the dafault of  'steel'.

Have I missed something or am I doing something wrong? It always used to work.

Hi @lemelman

Could you export your file to the forum so we can see if we can replicate the issue,

File -> export -> F3D -> Upload here

I see no issues changing material using the Fusion Personal License. The only thing I can think of is to make sure that you have some different materials to change to.  Animated GIF will show me changing material.

Are you trying to assign a physical material to an external component in the Assembly environment?  Physical material is a design property (as opposed to Appearance, which can be overridden in another design).  If so, you will have to open the referenced component and change physical material there

I discovered that I was doing it completely wrong, and have now fixed it. Thank you for confirming that it actually does work and that encouraged me to investigate further.

I tried posting earlier to include my f3d and a short video, but simply got a message saying the video is being processed and to try again later. Many minutes later its still not finished processing.
