I've Googled this for hours today, and a few hours yesterday, and I still can't find an obvious way to do this:
I'd like to be able to, say, create a box (let's keep it simple!), and then add a sketch to a box face. Add some lines of text, and then have the text aligned to the center of that face. I've tried again and again, and I can't get it to work.
I imagine the easiest way to center align these blocks of text, would be to do it before you "explode" the text, because after you've exploded the text, they become individual objects - not very easy to align to anything.
As far as aligning, I really only need to align it to the face of the plane. Doesn't need to be tricky or confusing. I'm fairly good at manually aligning things, but being able to click-click align would be nice.
I did try drawing some "Xes" from corner to corner of each of the text blocks, and then create a center point where that intersects. But having a center point on the text, I still can't figure out how to align the text horizontally to the box face.
Am I missing something?
Just to make sure I'm being absolutely clear, I'd like to do this within Fusion 360, I don't want to have to import an SVG from Illustrator or wherever.
I've attached an image with an example of three blocks of text before, after horizontal alignment, and after vertical distribution, grouping and vertical centering as a group, just so we're on the same sheet of drafting paper.
Thanks!
