Use Modify->Align command. Select the bottom face of the object and align to the origin plane. Make sure to toggle on visibility of origin plane. You can also use Move command in point to point mode to align the body to any coordinates.

I am able to align any face to a point on origin without a problem. I was aligning the the two outside holes in the X axis that was driving me nuts.

Ended up sketching a line between the two holes and creating a plane along path of that line. Then aligned that plane to the YZ origin.

Thank you for your input.. 👍

Hi,

have you ever looked at the power and variety of joints?

Could you have used the center point of the holes to align without drawing the extra line?

Not that I can figure out, thats why I posted this. I was hoping there was a simpler way.

Although its still pretty simple. Sketching a line with a plane doesn't take much time.

I just tried it; you can use the point-to-point move command and use the center of the hole on either side of the part to align to an axis. I don't think your solution was bad tho, it's not like there was a big time savings or anything.
