Adding holes in a flat plate easier

Hi

I need to add holes in this arial that I am making for a prop.

I could draw up a grid of boxes and add tons of circles in and then cut them with a extrude cut, but that seems a very long way around in doing it.

The flat panels need to look like this with slightly bigger gaps between the circles

Is there some sort of patter tool to create these holes or circles quicker.

Any advice will save hours of sketching individual holes.

Your looking for the pattern tool.  here's a screen cast.

(FYI-there's also a pattern tool in the sketch environment, but it's generally a better idea to pattern 3d features instead of sketch features.)
