Is there any easy way to add recessed text to multiple surfaces/planes?
On the part I've attached, I'd like to add some text to each of the selected surfaces, however I'm wondering if there is an easier/simpler way than creating a separate sketch/extrude for each surface.
For easily embossing to multiple faces they should be tangentially continuous. So you can add a very small fillet to these edges:
However, in this method as you see you need to adjust the distance between characters...
Maybe an easier way is to first do the emboss on a continuous top surface and then cut extrude from side:
