Hi,

Fusion is using the classical spline.

Just that to control the curvature of the spline is quasi impossible.

I saw that B-plines and NURBS were accessible with Fusion. Where ? Mystery.

I bet that I have to add a Sculpt-plane, and to play with it, until the intersection with the plane of the sketch is OK.

Perhaps a bit far-fetched.

If somebody has some idea ?

In all cases, I am waiting for style-splines, to get more controls with the curvature variations.

Tx for your ideas.

Hi @cali.season26,

There is only one type of spline curve in Fusion. It works with all geometry types.  We have had requests for a CV spline which is what I think you are looking for.

Hope that helps,

Colin

You can use the spline sketch too to create spline curves in Fusion 360. You can use the tangent and curvature handle of a sketch spline to have greater control of the spline's curvature. Here's some more links that might help you to get started with the spline curve command in Fusion 360's sketch environment.

Fusion 360 uses boundary representation (BREP), not NURBS. The sculpt environment (T-Splines) provides the ability to do organic shape and curvature modeling that can be quickly converting to BREP geometry. You can check out more on the learning website below:

I hope that helps!

Tx a lot for your replies.

But I don't see any handle to fit the curvature. The only handles I see are with the tangents (direction and lengths, right and left), but I don't see any handle to fit the curvature.

Nope in the links you gave me Man Embarassed

Yes, the way you interact with spline handles in Fusion is not obvious, I agree.  The answer is that you have to first activate the tangent handle, then right click on the tangent handle and activate the curvature handle.  Here are a couple of screencasts illustrating this:
