Can simulation settings be saved to each part file, or can defaults be made? Why does CAM crash on my one-time fixture? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Xh64zGBfp4

Regarding: Why does this toolpath generate lower than my minimum height?

Can you check the Passes tab. We have 2 settings called Machine Areas Using Boundaries and Boundary Overlap which can offset beyond the given height for Scallop. This is enabled by default to avoid noice in the toolpath. Try to disable these.

Fusion team should be answering your other questions.

At the moment the settings get reset on restart of Fusion. The Simulate feature can require a lot of CPU and memory so it is generally not desired to turn on Stock. Might allow certain safe settings to be save as global defaults though. The fixture should only be active when simulating toolpath for which the fixture is selected in the corresponding Setup. I have been working on this but there are still many pending things to get done for Simulate so it will progressively improve.

Thanks for reporting.

Regarding the Move question -

I used point to point move or precise move. I used contact sets when I don't know the bottom most point/part of the curvy surface but I want to move such that one body touches or flushes with the other curvy body.

Please refer to the video - https://screencast.autodesk.com/main/details/9b52546b-a8d4-4914-8379-34cd901c7646

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Thanks for all your excellent replies. 🙂

Can someone explain to me the point of cloud rendering? I used 4 rendering tokens to make a high quality render and it didn't even use ray tracing. The result was similar to just viewing the model on my computer.
