I am trying to project Sketch4 onto Sketch3, but for some reason Sketch4 disappears when going to sketch3?   Haven't had an issue like this before.

Note the position of Sketch 4 in your timeline, it is after Sketch 3.  So if you edit a sketch, created before, the sketch you want to project, it does not exist yet.  If you can, left click and drag Sketch 4 to the left of Sketch 3 and see if this helps.  This may not be possible depending on dependencies, I cannot tell since you did not attach your model.  The timeline represents your sketches and features in time.

If circular dependencies don't bother you and you just have to project a future sketch into a past sketch, then turn off capture design history and it will work.

It's easier to just create a sketch at the top level and project the geometry with Projection Link unchecked, then move the sketch earlier in the timeline.
