A ghost Sketch...?

Hi

If you load up the attached file, Sketch144 should be selected or alone, and I've noticed there's a ghost Sketch, or I'm guessing the remains of a modified Sketch. I've tried going back through the Timeline and editing the Sketch, but I'm not able to select and delete it. I think it's causing the new one, the one that you can select, to fail at Revolving and Joining another mesh as I keep getting an error. Is there a way of removing this ghost Sketch or is it simply a case of deleting the whole thing and starting over?

Thanks

I have zoom extents and sketch 144 is all that I see.  A simple ellipse and some lines.

That's weird. I loaded up the file to highlight where and what I mean, but it's no longer showing up for me either. 😮 I'm guessing it must have been a glitch. It's still failing to Revolve for me though. It keeps saying it's overlapping the axis despite me only selecting the single corner and picking the centre line. The Elipse created the two dotted lines itself.

EDIT: Ahh, wait. I created an additional cut in the same Sketch, which I shouldn't have done.

Your sketch has an issue.  Once it is fixed, you can Revolve it in any method you desire.

Ah-ha. Thanks for pointing this out; I didn't realise. I ended up re-creating the Sketch again and there was no issue. So, what exactly does it mean by 'Move to Sketch Plane'? Is it because some points weren't completely aligned together?

EDIT: Did you try clicking on Okay after selecting the Profile and the Axis? The preview works for me, but it's when I try to click 'Okay' that I get an error. I did what you suggested too by selecting everything and going to 'Move Sketch to Plane' but the same thing still happens.

Thanks

Just what it says.  Some entities were not on the same sketch plane.  All 2D Sketches MUST be on a plane to create a Profile and/or to create a Feature.  This plane can be a flat face of a body or a Construction plane but all must be on that plane.  Somehow, you moved some entity in the sketch off of the original plane.  The command I pointed out will move all back, especially if you use a Window selection method.
