4-1 Merge Collector Not Coming Out Properly

Hello All,

I am trying to create a 4-1 merge collector. I can create the individual pieces. I am using 6" long pipe, 2" diameter, 11 degree intersection angle and cutting 270 degrees off of each pipe so that 4 x 90 = 360.

The pieces come out fine, but for some reason when trying to join them together into the collector, the last one never fits correctly.

Measuring each individual piece i get 90 degrees, but when two are aligned it reads 148 instead of 180.

Im not sure what I am doing wrong? Is it just an alignment issue?

Attached is a screencast as well as an attachment of the project.

Is there a way to automatically adjust the angles of the joints so that these 2 pipe surfaces become parallel?

Yes, but it looks like you have everything as Rigid Joints.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Build it in place, with the hardware dimensions as required.  You need a centre line path for a pipe or Sweep.

Your pot luck method is too hard.  Make Fusion do the thinking.

Might help....
