3D Mirroring

so i have two fit point splines one on only xy plane.  click mirror select fit point select axis...done.

the other fit point spline is 3D  click mirror cannot select curve toggle open/close curve cannot select curve....

What am i missing

Sketch elements must lie flat on the plane to be mirrored.

You should NEVER mirror a fit point spline in Fusion 360. Not in 3D (if hat would even be possible) and not in2D.

Once mirrored, if you edit either side, they will likely not be symmetric anymore.

It is almost always better to mirror 3D geometry instead of sketch geometry.
