2D Drawing question

I have a part I have modeled, a shock absorber, when creating a 2D drawing, I have the part in its extended view. I need to bring it in again to show it in its collapsed view. The 3D model has a slider joint so it works in VR but how do I get this second view? I have attached images if what I am after. I need both of these on the 2D print preferably, I can do it on 2 separate 2D drawings but was hoping to have them both in a single one.

I know how to do the exploded views, I was looking for a way to show the joint motion at each of its limits. The way I did it for now was to fully extend the model and create a copy,  then fully collapse it and save it. When I call up the second view of it in the drawing space, it pulls forward both copies and I turned off the one I already had to create the two items I needed. I was hoping there was a quicker way although it didn't take me long once I figured out to create a copy of it.

Hi,

Simply create a separate storyboard for each representation in the animation environment and generate the 2-D representation from it.
