I am having 2 issues , first one is that when I highlight a group of bodies and try to move them  some of them un highlight when  clicking move button  , this also happens when I have bodies from 2 component groups some of   the groups will unhighlight.

also I  am not able to find any documentation on how to  change the order of  the  components ,  and bodies

thanks

Please display us your Browser Tree so we'll be able to assist you better as one of the few possibilities on why some of them unhighlight could be cause it's grounded and probably you highlighted a mixture of components and bodies

bodies live in a component, you can only change the order of bodies within a component and changed the order of components. How you do this is simply, left click + hold on the component or body in the browser tree and drag it to the position you want.

not sure how to display my browser

yes I do have the bodies in the components and if i try to highlight 2 compnents either by either  by dragging around them or by right clicking their component boxes in the browser , when I right click and select move some of the parts un highlight.

also on a mac with a smart mouse the left click and drag does not move the components to a different place, I can how ever use that technique to move bodies into components.

Okay, so now when you refer to:
Problem 1: highlight a group of bodies and try to move them
Which group of bodies are you referring to based on the photo you gave

Problem 2: change the order of the components , and bodies

You can change the order of components within components only, meaning from ur browser tree, you can reorder anything from below Construction but you can't drag it to be above Bodies (or those folder icons) (got it?)

Also assuming you have a few body in bodies, you can rearrange within it or hold + drag it into a component to make it into an assembly.

Btw, I've made a screencast for you (no audio), so try to follow along and lemme know how it goes:

first issue , I am trying to move everything thing that is on the screen  as per #2 picture and you can see that in #3 picture some thing were deselected when a selected the move button

the parts I am trying to move are the components 5th axis assemblies and also 4th axis assemblies

I just tried to do the above problems in a new file  and both work , is it possible that something is set wrong in the file  that would cause both of these problems

Hmm, not too sure. Can you expand all your browser tree and post a photo of it again? My guess is some of the component is grounded but I'm not too sure.

And next time, you can attach images directly from here:

click on it and this will appear, usually you want it to be either full-size or large.

Just received your invite, checking your file now. I'll get back to you

Edit: Okay, so I think I know what's going on now but before I make a screencast, can you confirm this is what you want?

1. When move 5th axis assembly and 4th axis assemblies, it resorts back to its original position, not the newly position

2. You can't reorder the components in browser tree like what I did in the video (place the 4th axis assemblies right under 5th axis assemblies)
