I also ave the problem and I have tried the solution and now get this error when trying to launch fusion after creating the environment variable.

This really blows Fusion. You should have a roll back feature or something for issues like this. My forced update bricked my way to make money.

If above solution is not working.

Please Remove below Environment Variables

  • Variable Name: QT_OPENGL
  • Variable Value: software

And add below Environment Variables.
  • Variable Name: QT_OPENGL
  • Variable Value: angle

I'm having the same issue. I tried this fix and it just turned the strip at the top white instead of black.

Just noticed the second fix that uses angle instead of software. It worked.

I too had this black bar problem just after todays update. This is clearly an autodesk bug since it was working perfectly for the last hour before i restarted fusion due to a problem getting a canvas image to load... I am going to wait for autodesk to push the fix out after more of us search for this topic!  Just did a uninstall/re-install cycle and still has the same problem.

Hi @Anonymous @tperam @cekeller9 @vramos678 @Anonymous

The latest Fusion 360 Update has the fix, Build number 2.0.10148.(You may need to restart Fusion 360 to see Auto-Update)

Note: After Fusion 360 updated to build  2.0.10148 version, then you can clear the environment variables.
