Issues with component.transform/ component.transform2 for components in an assembly that are edited in place

Hi,

I am having issues with an assembly that has components that have been edited in place. The transform appears to return the components position in the wrong place. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so is there anything extra I need to do in the api?
