How to execute script without aborting current command

Can I execute python script without aborting execution of current command?. For example I have simple script which toggle between wire frame and shaded display mode assigned on the hotkey. In «normal» mode all work great, but when I trying to execute script while I'm using fillet command (for example), script cancel this (fillet) command.

Hi @ponomarevcs -San.

Unfortunately, it is basically impossible to execute other commands while a command is being executed.
This is described in the "Using a Custom Event" section of this document.
