How can I add a tooltip to a new button control in a LinearMarkingMenu?

Using the example code in https://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=GUID-c90ce6a2-c282-11e6-a365-3417ebc87622 is there a way to add a tooltip to the created button in the right click dropdown menu?

The CommandDefinition that creates the button has a tooltip argument, but this doesn't appear to display on mouseover (it does work when the button is in the ribbon toolbar however).

The framework clearly supports it, as the Fusion 360 built-in buttons mostly have tooltip (example click on an operation in the machining view and hover the "Generate" button (screenshot attached)
