Hi Guys,
I need an API that I can use on the WEB.
We have our own (web) system where it is possible to configure certain values. As an example, a planner in which the customer can put together his own car. Which color, which model, which tires etc.
Of course, we would like to be able to offer the customer a visual representation, which he has directly available.
In the offline version, this works as follows, one clicks on his wishes and at the end the desired features are inserted from an already predefined model.
We wish the whole thing for our websystem.
This means that the customer comes to the website and, for example, goes to "Create a dream car". Now he finds a number of options and images from the available cars - for example, the customer now takes the BMW i8 as a base model.
Now the customer has the opportunity to adjust the car a little, the whole thing happens by clicking on predefined events. He wants a red car now, with red leather seats, 5 doors and so on.
At the end or in between, he should have the opportunity to view the CAD model live (or by clicking on "view"). It should have everything on the web and not a long delay.
Here comes the point, we want our CAD model to send the modified data, which inserts it and the customer can now look at it. But we do not have the right interface for this.
The Autodesk Fusion 360 web viewer is perfect for that, as long as it offers this capability via an interface. (Maybe JSON or something else)
Of course, the whole thing does not have to be Free and the files can also be on the cloud.
I hope you can help me with this and give advice.
Thank you,
Daniel
